The Department of Labor is now accepting applications for the Labor Investing for Tomorrow (LIFT) summer internship program.
Now in its twenty-second year, the LIFT program continues to provide college juniors, seniors, and graduate students with meaningful work/internship experience in their chosen career field. Interns may also gain college credits. Eligibility criteria are as follows: Interns must presently be a college junior, senior or a graduate student; must have a minimum GPA of 2.80 on a 4.00 scale; and must be between the ages of 18 – 25, inclusive. Application deadline is April 13, 2012.
Interested juniors, seniors or graduate students must complete the LIFT application online on the department’s website at www.vidol.gov under the forms tab. Completed applications, transcripts and required essay should be submitted to lift2012@vidol.gov by April 13, 2012.
