VIDOL Construction Skills & Trades Training Program
6-week program. Start date– August 2—St. Thomas
Classes will be held Monday - Friday– 9 am – 4pm
NCCER Core Curriculum including the VI CODE
REQUIREMENTS/BENEFITS
Register with the VI Department of Labor
Basic skills test required
FREE for eligible candidates
This course will provide participants with the foundational knowledge to acquire an entry level position in construction trades. The course will cover: Basic Safety, Construction Math, Intro to Hand Tools, Intro to Power Tools, Intro to Blue Prints, Communication Skills and Employment Skills, Intro to Green Jobs, and Intro to the VI Code.
Receive Industry Certification upon completion of course.
