The mission of the Virgin Islands Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) is to implement the mandates of the federal (OSH) Act, and to ensure a safe and healthful working environment for all employers and employees within its jurisdiction. This means, to ensure as much as practicable, that employees work in an environment free from hazards and risks to their safety and health. DOSH intends to ensure that this protection is provided to all employees in the Virgin Islands. This will involve the application of standards, enforcement, and compliance assistance. This Inspection includes: Presentation of Credentials Opening Conference Inspection Tour Closing Conference FINES FOR VIOLATIONS RANGE FROM $1,000- $70,000 FOR EACH VIOLATION.
