VIDOL ANNOUNCES TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ST. THOMAS OFFICE
USVI- Commissioner Gary Molloy informs the public that due to an incident that transpired in the vicinity of 2353, Krondprindsens Gade, St. Thomas, the Virgin Islands Department of Labor (VIDOL) will cease operations until Thursday, March 23, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. Staff and customers were not injured during the incident. However, the situation is extremely alarming, and the staff is shaken up. Immediate action has been taken to offer support to the staff in this difficult time. Our deepest gratitude goes out to those agencies and persons who either responded immediately or offered assistance. The incident is under investigation by VIPD, and additional information will be shared through their process.
