Apprenticeship Week to be Observed November 15-19, 2021
The Department of Labor Youth and Apprenticeship Division shares event details along with the official Proclamation.
The 7th annual National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) will take place November 15 – 19, 2021. Officially Proclaimed by Governor Albert Bryan Jr., NAW is a nationwide celebration where industry, labor, equity, workforce, education, and industry leaders have their successes showcased. Promoting State Registered Apprenticeship is important to help re-building our economy, advancing racial and gender equity, and supporting underserved communities. This week gives us an opportunity to highlight how Registered Apprenticeship, a proven and industry-driven training model, provides a critical talent pipeline that can help to address some pressing workforce challenges such as responding to critical industry sector demands and supporting a safer workforce, modernizing our cybersecurity response, addressing public health issues, and rebuilding infrastructure nationwide.
