VIDOL’s Assistant Commissioner Nesha Christian-Hendrickson Elected to National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA) Board

USVI – November 9, 2022 – On Wednesday, September 21, 2022, during the NASWA Summit, the NASWA membership revealed the 2023 election of fifteen (15) new board members, ten (10) alternate members, and an executive committee of five (5) members to represent its regions. For the second time in a row, Assistant Commissioner Nesha Christian-Hendrickson, who also serves as Legal Counsel, was selected to be a member of the Board of Directors to represent Region II, which covers Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. “Congratulations again! I know you will continue with strong representation and ensure that the Virgin Islands remain at the forefront,” Commissioner Gary Molloy said.

NASWA is the national organization representing all fifty (50) state workforce agencies, D. C., and U.S. Territories. These agencies deliver training, employment, career, and business services while administering veteran reemployment, unemployment insurance, and labor market information programs.
